Relations between people of different ethnic groups are crucial issues in
the world of today. At both the national and international levels, ethnic
conflicts are important issues, impeding effective relations and social
harmony. Although people often believe that we can all get along if we
just try, history tells us that conflict is more likely than harmony in
the context of intercultural contact. How can we get along better with others? There are some tips on how to have the harmony ethnic relations.

First of all, love other ethnics as we love our ethnics. This statement means that we should try very hard to understand about their ethnics and practice communicates together. It is not always easy, it is not always right opinion, and it is not always be fine but we keep trying. There will be no color or facial distinctions made to tighten up the relationship between all ethnics.

Then, we also can avoid from being prejudice. Prejudice encompasses negative thoughts and feelings that a person has toward another person. This negative view is not based on clear information, accurate or adequate. Never blame something bad on the other person. For example, the Indian kids in the video do not blame his friend for having this problems but try to solve it together.

Besides that, each ethnics need to put aside the concept of segregation. Racial segregation is the separation of different kinds of humans into racial groups in daily life. Separation occurs in some circumstances, such as place where each ethnic live, school, and facilities. If there have segregation, there will have no chances to each ethnics seat together and know deeply about each other.

In a nutshell, as a Malaysian with various ethnic relations, we should avoid prejudices, stereotypes, and the segregation concept to cultivate harmony and national unity in this country
